WKU's Claire Donahue and Jim Ritter Named Sun Belt Swimmer and Diver of the Week
Both athletes helped lead WKU to win last weekend at Hilltopper Invite.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Swimmer Claire Donahue and diver Jim Ritter have been named this week's Sun Belt Conference Swimmer and Diver of the Week, the conference office announced today. Both Donahue and Ritter led the Lady Toppers and Hilltoppers to wins in the Hilltopper Invite.
Donahue, a junior, had a record breaking weekend during the Hilltopper Invite setting three new individual pool records and leading three relay teams to pool records. Individually, Donahue placed first in the 100 Fly posting a time of 53.34, the second fastest time this season in the country. She also took home first place inthe 200 Fly where she recorded a time of 2:00.05, over 12 seconds faster than the second place finisher. She alo set a pool record in the 50 Free. In the relay events, she was a part of the 200 Free, 400 Medley and 400 Free Relay teams that took home first place.
Ritter, a sophomore, won both the one-meter and three-meter diving competitions during the Invite. In the one-meter competition, he posted a score of 245.30 points. He then followed up that performance in the three-meter competition by recording 299.00 points to sweep the weekend's events.
The WKU swimming and diving teams will resume competition on Dec. 4 when they head to New Orleans to take on Tulane and New Orleans.
