Young baseball players from all over the state are back in Bowling Green this weekend for the 75th Kentucky Little League State Tournament.
Each team that qualified for the tournament is playing for the chance to move onto regionals
Many of the little leaguers believe their team is the best going into the tournament as for Dawson Cole and Campbellsville, being the defending champions they know the rest of the teams are out to get them. "We are the defending state champs, we have an X on our chest and everyone is out to get us."
The players are out there to have fun but also try their best to move on to regionals. Tucker Prieskorn of Warren County South said "We just got to keep on doing what we have been doing and practice. We have to play like we played in all of our games so far."
The tournament is set to take place July 19th and finish on July 23rd. Reporting in Bowling Green, Brian Chojnacki 13 sports.
