Cardinals' Beaumont Carted Off Field
Louisville wide receiver experienced neck pain after hit in third quarter on Friday vs. Rutgers.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Louisville receiver Doug Beaumont was taken off the field on a stretcher after a vicious collision during the third quarter of Friday's 34-14 loss to Rutgers.
The junior was stretching out to catch a pass when he was hit by Rutgers safety Zaire Kitchen. Beaumont was bent back awkwardly and lay motionless on the field for several minutes.
He was able to wave to the crowd after being placed on the stretcher.
Louisville spokesman Rocco Gasparro said Beaumont was experiencing neck pain and would undergo X-rays.
Kitchen was penalized for unnecessary roughness.
