LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville basketball recruit Preston Knowles will not play in Saturday's Indiana-Kentucky All-Star Classic so he can deal with a personal issue.
Knowles missed curfew, said Stan Hardin, game director for Kentucky. When asked why he missed curfew, Knowles told team officials he had some "personal problems" back home.
"We're going to let him go home and take care of those problems," Hardin said. "He could come back next week."
The Kentucky and Indiana All-Stars will meet on Saturday in Bowling Green, then meet again on June 23 in Indianapolis.
Knowles averaged 21.4 points and 7.1 rebounds last year for Clark County High.
