"It just sucks for them," said WKU student Gary Taylor, "because they've done better in the past, like when they've had Courtney Lee, A. J Slaughter was a pretty good guard too and Valdez was a really good guard as well"

"But I'm sure Coach McDonald is going to do fine," said WKU faculty member Robert Davis, "and he can pull it around if anybody can. So I would like to see the athletic department give him a little more support maybe."
