WKU's Sulaski Named Sun Belt Pitcher of the Week
WKU pitcher earns conference weekly award for second week in a row.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - For the second consecutive week, freshman softball player Mallorie Sulaski had been honored by the Sun Belt Conference for being selected as a player of the week. This week, the Lakewood, Colo. native, has been named the SBC Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced today.
During the week, she defeated Florida Atlantic and Iowa pitching 14.1 innings and giving up just five hits and one run while in the pitcher's circle. She finished with a .049 ERA while holding her batters to a .109 batting average while also striking out 14 batters and walking just two. She was a also a force at the plate racking up four hits, one RBI and scoring one run.
Sulaski picks up the Pitcher of the Week honor for the first time in her career. This season, WKU softball athletes have been honored by the conference three times with senior Lindsay Antone picking up a player of the week award during the second week of the season.
Sulaski will help lead the Lady Toppers this week when they take on Eastern Illinois on Tuesday at 4 and 6 p.m. CT and Eastern Kentucky on Wednesday at 3 and 5 p.m.
