NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Defensive end Simeon Rice's tour of NFL teams brought him to Tennessee, and he was gone after a few hours.
General manager Mike Reinfeldt said the team brought him in and had doctors give him a physical.
Reinfeldt and coach Jeff Fisher each talked with him in what the general manager called a chance to become acquainted and find out how Rice is physically.
Tampa Bay waived the 12-year veteran last week because of an injured shoulder. He has 121 sacks, second only to Michael Strahan's 132-and-a-half among active players.
The Titans had 26 sacks last season, a big drop from 41 in 2005.
Rice, who took a physical with the New York Giants on Wednesday, left and is expected to meet with other teams.
The only players the Titans added Friday were a couple of defensive tackles using exemptions from NFL Europa, Lavale Sate and Quartez Vickerson.
