Bobby Sippio's chance to play in the NFL's done for now, but not his chance to play with NFL players.
Two days after being released by the Kansas City Chiefs to make room for rookie quarterback Tyler Thigpen, the reigning Arena Football League touchdown leader was signed to the Chiefs practice squad.
Sippio was originally signed by Kansas City following its first preseason game and caught two passes for 28 yards for Kansas City during the exhibition campaign.
The 6-3, 225-pound wideout played defensive back at WKU from 1999-2001, becoming the Hilltoppers' all-time leader in interceptions with 19, including 10 during an all-American 2000 season.
