Franklin-Simpson quarterback Courtney Dalcourt threw for 205 yards, gained 82 yards on the ground and accounted for three touchdowns in an 18-point victory Friday night.
After the Patriots scored on their opening drive, Dalcourt ran for a 16-yard touchdown to help the Wildcats capture a lead they would never relinquish.
Dalcourt started the night completing his first nine passes, leading the Wildcats to scores on four of their first five possessions.
In Franklin-Simpson's second series, Patrick Flippin scored from five yards out to make it 14-6 and the Wildcats led 23-6 at halftime. All told, Flippin ran for a 142 yards and two scores.
Near the beginning of the second half, Dalcourt hooked up with Zach Herrington on a 49-yard touchdown pass to put the game of out of reach.
Franklin-Simpson (2-1, 1-0 Class 4A District 2) will play at Russell County while Allen County-Scottsville (0-3, 0-1) plays at Warren East.
