Russellville's Dustin Sydnor rushed for 86 yards and scored three touchdowns and quarterback Mikie Benton tallied 62 yards on the ground and 66 through the air while accounting for the three scores in Russellville's shutout victory.

After Benton scored the Panthers' first touchdown early in the first quarter, Sydnor sprinted 54 yards to make it 14-0. He followed that up with a 10-yard touchdown run to help the Panthers to a commanding 48-0 lead at the half.

Russellville's defense held the Indians to just 73 yards of total offense while limiting them to only three first downs for the game.

The victory was John Myers' 50th as a head coach. The Panthers (3-1, 2-0 Class AAA District 2) play at Butler County next friday while Adair County (0-4, 0-2) hosts Casey County September 28th.
