Defending KHSAA state champion Bowling Green boys soccer picked up a huge win at Greenwood Thursday night, allowing two second-half goals but holding on for a 3-2 victory.
The Purples had succumbed to the Gators 3-0 on September 2nd.
Isaias Parras, last year's state tournament MVP, had the winning goal. His tally in the 37th minute put the Purples ahead 3-0 and eventually proved to be the difference.
The Purples (12-2-1) are back on the pitch Tuesday at Elizabethtown, while Greenwood (12-2-0) visit Castle (IN) Saturday.
