Fort Campbell jumped out to an early 14-0 lead and never looked back, defeating Todd County Central 56-20.
The Falcons did most of their damage on the ground. Three Falcon players combined for six rushing touchdowns. Quarterback CJ Croft had two one-yard scores, running back Dexter Durrante scored twice from 29 and 18 yards out, and Maurice Henderson scored two rushing touchdowns and also caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from Croft.
The Rebels' offense was unable to keep up with the Falcons, but they did show they were capable of making big plays. Todd County Central got on the board with a 71-yard touchdown run by Terrence Moore early in the second quarter. Later in the fourth quarter, Aaron Moore threw a 70-yard touchdown pass to Andre Mensah to cut the Fort Campbell lead to 49-20. The Falcons would add another touchdown before time expired.
The Falcons (3-2, 1-0 Class 2A District 2) host Fort Knox next week while the Rebels (1-4, 0-1) travel to Lone Oak.
