Fort Wayne, IN – Joel Caminero hit his first home run of the season, and the Bowling Green Hot Rods (24-19) beat the Fort Wayne TinCaps (19-24) 9-3 at Parkview Field on Saturday night. In the opener of the three-game series, Jeff Malm and Josh Sale both drove in three runs, and Felipe Rivero hurled five, strong innings of relief to grab his fifth win. The win is Bowling Green’s second consecutive on the road and their seventh in the last nine games.
