Bowling Green, KY – Ryan Carpenter hurled six scoreless inning to lead the Bowling Green Hot Rods (16-13) to a 2-0 win over the Lake County Captains (11-17) on Saturday night at Bowling Green Ballpark. In a game that took exactly two hours to complete, Ryan Brett and Cameron Seitzer both struck timely, two-out singles to provide all the offense the Hot Rods would need in the win, which is the team’s ninth in 13 tries at home so far in 2012.
