E. A. "Eddie" Diddle Junior, son of legendary Hilltoppers head basketball coach E. A. Diddle died Thursday.
WKU's athletic department says Eddie passed away in Hollywood, Florida at the age of 83.
He earned three varsity letters playing basketball for his father, helped win two Ohio Valley Conference championships, and made two appearances in the NIT in New York City.
He was also Middle Tennessee State's head coach from 1956-1961.
A memorial service will be held in Bowling Green at a later date.
