It took a total team effort for the Hilltoppers to win four games in four days to capture the Sun Belt championship.
On Monday night when it mattered most sophomore forward George Fant's play really stood out.
Fant did not play well at all in the semifinal game against Arkansas State on Sunday and afterwards head coach Ray Harper predicted that his forward would step up in the championship.
Fant made his coach look smart.
He scored 17 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and had four blocks.
Coach Harper says Fant's performance wasn't a surprise.
