Fort Wayne, IN – The Bowling Green Hot Rods (26-23) used Jake Hager’s four hits and a seven-run eighth inning to win 11-2 over the Fort Wayne TinCaps (23-26) on Saturday night at Parkview Field. Todd Glaesmann also contributed with a two-run home run, and pitchers Ryan Carpenter and Jason McEachern held the TinCaps without a hit for the final six innings. The victory in game one of the four-game set keeps the Hot Rods in second place tie in the MWL’s Eastern Division.
