BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- After leading his team to a state title in 2011, it seemed the sky was the limit for Mr. Basketball Anthony Hickey. A few weeks ago, Hickey was brought back down to earth when his scholarship wasn't renewed at LSU.
Now, it looks like he may have found a new place to play.
Multiple reports say Hickey is on the verge of heading to Oklahoma State.
That means the Hopkinsville native will be playing for Madisonville native and Kentucky alum, Travis Ford.
Nothing is final yet. The point guard will need an NCAA waiver first. But after all the paperwork, Hickey could potentially be a starter for the Cowboys this year.
