BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Week three of the spring football season is underway as the WKU Hilltoppers worked out for just over two hours on Tuesday inside the confines of Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium on Tuesday.
As the Hilltoppers continue to address areas where they need to develop depth and improve, one area focused on fine tuning their craft is the tight end group, led by graduate assistant Ryan Wallace and returners Mitchell Henry, Tyler Higbee and Tim Gorski.
"I've come into a group of quality guys - it's a great room of guys to be able to coach," said Wallace, a former Hilltopper letterwinner. "They all do a quality job blocking, and the whole team has evolved into the system. We've tweaked little things here and there, but they've done a great job grasping (the system)."
