Hilltoppers, Blue Raiders in Murfreesboro Selected for ESPN2

ONESBORO, Ark. — The Saturday, January 26 rivalry game between WKU and Middle Tennessee in Murfreesboro has been selected for a national television broadcast on ESPN2 beginning at 3:00 PM (CT), the conference office announced Friday.

The two teams are on top of the Sun Belt Conference East Division standings entering tomorrow's games, as the Hilltoppers are tied for first at 4-1 and the Blue Raiders are right behind at 3-1 in conference play.

The game will be the 128th in the all-time series between WKU and Middle Tennessee, which dates back to the 1914-15 season. The Hilltoppers lead the series 92-35 including winning the most recent game, capturing a 73-67 victory on February 25, 2012 in Bowling Green.

A total of 27 of 31 games on WKU's regular-season schedule will be televised nationally, including the 15 remaining games and each of the last 25 overall.
