BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU enjoyed the start of the second week of fall camp on Monday with their first two-a-day of the season, a pair of workouts which concluded with jerseys and shorts in the evening under cool temperatures inside Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium.
In the morning, the Tops worked out in full pads, picking up where they left off from Saturday’s productive first scrimmage and head coach Jeff Brohm said the second week would be continued focus on what the Hilltoppers can do on their own.
“We had a good, long, hard practice in the morning and got a lot out of it,” Brohm said following the second practice.
Following the extensive early session, the Tops had a mentally efficient evening practice, focusing on becoming better players as a whole. “(In the evening), we tried to get smarter, get mentally sharper. I think we did that,” Brohm added.
The Hilltoppers return to the field tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. All practices are open through Aug. 15, and a complete practice schedule can be found on WKUSports.com.
