The Hilltoppers hosted their annual fan fest today where fans received a carnival like atmosphere with the Hilloppers football players and coaches.
It was a win/win scenario for everybody,, the fans got free food, face paintings, candy, games, and the players got to relax.
The Hilltoppers got the opportunity to put a face to the people that cheer loud in the stands. With two-a-days now a full week in, the players used the day recovering, chatting and signing autographs for fans.
Offensive Coordinator Tyson Helton said "It's been awesome the fans are fired up, fans have been coming up the players and coaches talking about how excited they are."
Quarterback Brandon Doughty enjoyed the day of rest, but loved getting to interact with the fans. "We are really excited, we look forward to this day, to come in here seeing our fans and interacting. You get to see people who you don't normally see and you get to see how passionate they are about WKU football"
