WKU Football closed out its first week of two-a-days and second overall week of fall camp with a closed scrimmage Saturday afternoon at Houchens-Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium.
Offensive Coordinator Tyson Helton was pleased on how his team looked but would like to bring up the tempo to prepare his team for the upcoming season. "When you're going out to practice everyday, you are running plays over and over. When you get in that game like tempo, you got to be in game like shape."
WKU will have the day off Sunday to participate in the annual Fan Fest celebration, set for 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Knicely Convention Center in Bowling Green.
