Bowling Green, KY – Parker Markel earned his sixth straight quality start and his tenth win on Tuesday night at Bowling Green Ballpark, leading the Bowling Green Hot Rods (34-23, 72-55) to a 3-1 win over the South Bend Silver Hawks (29-27, 64-62) in the series finale.
Cameron Seitzer and Matt Rice both contributed with early RBI-singles as the Hot Rods broke their four-game home losing streak to South Bend. Austin Hubbard also claimed his 20th save, tying the single-season franchise record.
