BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- It's been a tough stretch for the Hot Rods. Thirteen games in twelve days in which they went 3-10.
They have seen a number of players promoted recently, but fatigue has also been a major factor in the team's slump.
Hot Rods Manager Michael Johns says the day is a welcomed one.
"It's much needed right now everybody's a little tired. Obviously when we come back we have a long home stand and we're looking forward to that. It's really our last off day because the other off days we're traveling so we're going to enjoy it and get ready to play when we come back on Tuesday."
The Hot Rods are currently tied for last place with a record of 5-12.
After Monday's day off the team plays West Michigan for three games and then Lansing for four starting on Friday.
