BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- The all-star break is a time for most players in baseball to rest. Unless of course you're on the all star roster.
The mid-summer break started for the Hot Rods Monday. Bowling Green has five players in all getting the nod, including pitcher Ryne Stanek.
After being drafted in the first round by the Rays in 2013, Stanek was forced to sit all last season due to surgery. This year Stanek is averaging more than four strikeouts a start, in a quest to prove he's worth the hype.
