BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Hunter Green admits he was getting a little nervous.
How could he not be, he had worked his whole life for this moment.
He finally heard his name called Thursday night during the 2013 Major League Baseball draft and took a sigh of relief.
He was the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim's first pick, selected 59th overall.
He has some big goals, he said he wants to be on the big league roster in three years, but that he really can't imagine getting to play alongside guys like Albert Pujols, Mike Trout and Josh Hamilton.
His would be coaches at the University of Kentucky have been very supportive Green said.
Control, location and putting on some weight are the things Green will immediately start to improve.
