The Bowling Green Lady Purples great season ended Wednesday with a 64-43 loss to Marion County.
The Lady Purples found themselves in a big hole after the first quarter, trailing 29-7.
Despite the big deficit, they responded in the second quarter and outscored Marion County 13-11, but still trailed by 20 at halftime.
Marion County opened the second half by outscoring the Lady Purples 17-8 in the third quarter and went on to the win.
Bowling Green struggled on offense, shooting just 23 percent (13-55 FG) for the game. They end their season with a record of 30-5.
The championship game airs Sunday, March 17th at 7pm on WBKO-CW.
