Perry played bogey-free golf with 15 pars and three birdies, including a roar-inducing birdie on No. 18 to cap a 3-under-par 68 in Sunday's final round of the PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club.
Perry finished at 6-under 278 and enjoyed celebrating his 54th birthday with thousands of fans in the state of Kentucky who have supported him throughout his career.
Perry said ""It was pretty special. All of the people were behind me, and I had huge galleries."
