Bowling Green, Ky. — The Sun Belt Conference announced kickoff times for the league’s football appearances across the ESPN family of networks in 2012 on Monday, including WKU’s two games to be televised on ESPNU.
The Hilltoppers will play two nationally televised Thursday night games over a four-week stretch this fall. The first will be a 6:30 p.m. (CST) kickoff at Troy on Oct. 11. Less than a month later, WKU will host Middle Tennessee in another ESPNU broadcast starting at 8:15 p.m. from Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium.
WKU had eight televised games during the 2011 season, including three national broadcasts on ESPNU. Additional television opportunities for 2012 will be released in the coming months — including the announcement of the Sun Belt Network schedule in July.
