Govan is averaging 19.5 points per game and 5.2 rebounds per game while shooting nearly 47 percent from the field. The sophomore is quickly nearing the 500 point mark for her career, needing just eight points to reach the mark, despite having been in a WKU uniform for one and a half seasons. Sophomore Chastity Gooch is averaging 16.7 points and 11.5 rebounds per game. She leads the nation in double-doubles, having posted 14 in 15 games this season.

FAU (8-6, 5-1) is coming off a 73-59 loss at Middle Tennessee on Wednesday night after winning three straight games, including wins on the road at Troy and ULM. Chenise Miller leads the team in scoring and rebounding with 14.4 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. Breana Turner and Takia Brooks also average double figures at 12.1 and 11.6 points per game respectively.

“They have some big time players on their team,” said Clark-Heard. “I think it is going to be crucial for us to get our defense back in order. We have to make sure we sit down and understand how to guard. They have an unbelievable post player and they have kids that can shoot it. It is going to be a battle for us. I am really excited that we are on our home floor again… It is exciting for us everyday to try and prepare and get ready for the next game.”
