Bowling Green, Ky--Russell County and Russellville are the first teams to earn wins in the 4th Region Tournament.
The Lakers defeated Greenwood 79-63 and the Panthers defeated Allen County-Scottsville 66-60 Monday night at E.A. Diddle Arena.
Russell County and Russellville will now meet each other in the semifinals on Friday.
The tournament continues on Tuesday with two more first round games: Warren Central vs. Franklin-Simpson and Barren County vs. Clinton County.
