Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky picked up a big commitment Monday, as Perry County Central forward Justin Johnson gave his verbal pledge to the Hilltoppers.
According to scout.com, the six-foot-six, 230-pound forward is a three-star prospect. He chose WKU over Boston College, Miami (OH), Auburn and Providence.
Johnson averaged 16.3 points and 10.0 rebounds per game his junior season with the Commodores.
He becomes the second member of the WKU's 2014 recruiting class. Franklin Road Academy (Tenn.) forward Rob Marberry committed to Western in August.
