BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- The South Warren Spartans have been in this situation before.
It's the end of May and they are still practicing.
That's a good thing to them, it means they are getting ready for the KHSAA state baseball tournament.
The Spartans made it all the way to state back in 2012 when they beat Central Hardin before losing to eventual state champion Woodford County.
It was a brand new experience for the Spartans in 2012. It was only the school's second season of varsity baseball.
This time around they are making sure to stop, smell the roses and enjoy the ride.
