BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — In anticipation of WKU's trip to the 2013 NCAA Tournament next week, WKU has released information on ticketing and fan travel opportunities.

Fans are encouraged to contact the WKU Ticket Office at (270) 745-5222 or 1-800-5-BIG RED or the Hilltopper Athletic Foundation (HAF) at (270) 745-5321 with any questions.

Depending on the host site location and based on the limited availability of tickets allotted to WKU for each site, the WKU Ticket Office may not be able to fulfill all requests.

SCENARIO 1:

If the Hilltoppers are selected to begin the tournament in the second and third rounds in Lexington, Ky., or Dayton, Ohio, tickets will be limited to only those whose HAF donor rank is 150 or higher (1-150).

Based on recent history, anyone whose HAF donor rank is not within the top 150 will have the best opportunity to obtain tickets by purchasing tickets through Ticketmaster.

If you have questions regarding your HAF donor rank, please call the HAF office at (270) 745-5321.

SCENARIO 2:

If WKU is selected to begin the tournament in any location other than Lexington or Dayton, tickets will be made available online through WKUSports.com beginning Monday, March 18 at 8:00 AM (CT).

In the event that the number of ticket requests exceeds the amount of tickets allotted to WKU, tickets will be assigned based on HAF donor rank.

Further details will be released as soon as WKU's location is confirmed on Sunday evening.

STUDENT TICKETS

The WKU Athletic Department is allocating 10 percent of its total ticket allotment to students who want to make the trip. All students interested in purchasing tickets will need to place an order at WKUSports.com on Monday from 8:00 AM-3:00 PM. If more tickets are purchased than are available for students, there will be a lottery based upon all orders.

Students will be allowed to purchase one ticket unless there are extra tickets available.

Those who have received tickets will be notified by the WKU Ticket Office via email at 5:00 PM on Monday. These students will need to bring their own WKU student ID to the WKU will call gate at the site of the first Hilltopper game to pick up their ticket.

Ticket prices range from $60.00-$100.00 depending on the site. Those students who were not selected in the lottery will be refunded the full amount of the ticket.

FAN BUSES

The HAF will offer a fan bus to the following second and third round locations, based on demand: Lexington, Dayton, Auburn Hills, Mich., and Kansas City, Mo.

The cost of the fan bus will vary depending upon location. Game tickets are not included or guaranteed for anyone traveling on the fan bus.

If you are interested in traveling on the HAF fan bus, please call the HAF office at (270) 745-5321.

Further details will be released as soon as WKU's location is confirmed on Sunday evening.
