Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky's men's basketball team will play at Wichita State next season, athletic director Todd Stewart confirmed to WBKO Wednesday.
The Shockers reached the NCAA Final Four in 2013 out of the Missouri Valley Conference. According to Stewart, WKU will receive $100,000 for making the trip to Wichita and the game will air on one of the ESPN networks. The Wichita Eagle reports the game will be played on Nov. 11 as part of ESPN's Hoops Marathon.
The Shockers are the second Final Four team on WKU's 2013-14 schedule. The Hilltoppers also play the defending national champion Louisville Cardinals.
