BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU heads into hostile territory for the final time in the 2012-13 regular season Saturday night, as the Hilltoppers venture to Lafayette for a 7:30 PM contest at Louisiana-Lafayette.
Ten of the 11 Ragin’ Cajun victories this season have come at the Cajundome, and WKU is 7-7 all-time in Lafayette and has lost two of its last three trips to Lafayette.
WKU snapped a three-game losing streak Thursday night with an 18-point win over ULM at E.A. Diddle Arena, and the Hilltoppers conclude the regular season next week with home games against South Alabama and Middle Tennessee.
WKU has lost eight of its last nine road games, but five of those have been by single digits. In four career games against the Ragin’ Cajuns, Jamal Crook is averaging 8.3 points and 3.5 rebounds per contest, and WKU has won seven of the last nine games against Louisiana-Lafayette overall.
