BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- The Kentucky All-Star basketball team has been without a few very important players as they prepare to face off against Indiana Friday night.
Two of those players arrived in Lexington Wednesday for practice after spending the early part of the week on the campus of WKU taking classes.
Justin Johnson and Jordan Green will both be freshman on Coach Ray Harper's squad this year. Now that they're in Lexington the future Hilltoppers minds are on the Indiana All-Stars, but they say WKU is already leaving its mark.
"College is a whole 'nother level. These seniors and juniors, they've got a whole 'nother gear to go into. When they get done with the workout it's a whole 'nother level. I'm just glad to be there," said Jordan Green.
"You get no sympathy whatsoever. You wake up at 6 AM doing workouts. 11 O'clock weights, and 4:30 pickup. You're working out about three times a day. Older guys are pretty much used to it, but us incoming guys are just trying to get into the groove of it. Staying sore everyday," added Justin Johnson.
