WKU (22-17) improves to 6-0 at the Hot Rods stadium in regular season games after defeating Kentucky 3-2 in 18 innings Tuesday night. The game lasted nearly six hours.
Freshman Trevor Lowe, a Bowling Green native and Warren Central standout, hit the game-winning solo home run in the bottom of the 18th inning.
With the win, the Toppers sweep their regular season series against the Wildcats.
