BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Following a week off for the second time this conference season, WKU is back on the court Saturday night at 7:00 when it hosts Sun Belt Conference East Division rival South Alabama at E.A. Diddle Arena.

Leverage in the race for Sun Belt Conference Tournament seeding is at stake, as WKU is just two-and-a-half games out of fifth place in the overall conference standings, which would mean a bye in the first round of the tournament.

The Hilltoppers will have their hands full on the glass against the Jaguars, as South Alabama is the conference’s leading rebounding team and features Preseason Player of the Year Augustine Rubit, who leads the league in both scoring and rebounding this season.

After the first of two remaining games against South Alabama, WKU heads back on the road next week to complete a stretch of six-of-eight away from home when it travels to league-leading Middle Tennessee and Troy.

Saturday's game is produced by the Hilltopper Sports Satellite Network and will be televised nationally on Fox College Sports and DirecTV channel 617 and locally in Bowling Green on WKYU-PBS. Randy Lee will be doing the play-by-play with Hal Schmitt providing the expert analysis.

The game will be broadcast on the radio on the Hilltopper IMG Sports Network with Lee and Schmitt on the call. WKUSports.com offers a video webcast, audio streaming and live stats for the game.

Tickets for all WKU men's basketball games in 2011-12 can be purchased online at WKUSports.com or at the WKU Ticket Office in E.A. Diddle Arena. Phone orders can also be placed by calling 1-800-5-BIG RED or 745-5222 locally.
