Warren County South Hangs On To Win vs Ohio County

On Sunday Warren County South takes on Paintsville at 2 pm. Ohio County plays Moorehead at 4 pm

Warren County South took on Ohio County today for their first game in the Kentucky Little League State Tournament.

Early in the game Warren County South went up three nothing. Justin Combs used his speed to slide in safe for a double, followed by Lance Upright getting a base hit.

Number 25 Charlie Key ate his Wheaties this morning as he went on to blast a three run homer.

In the final inning Ohio County erased a 4 run deficit, but Warren County held their heads high striking out the last batter of the inning.

In the bottom of the final inning Adam Burns brought in the sixth run to give Warren County South the six to five victory.
