Prestonsburg, Ky--Warren County South's 11-12 year-old little team is one step closer to Williamsport after winning the state title Friday night in Prestonsburg.
South defeated Marion County 8-5, advancing to the Great Lakes Regional in Indianapolis, Ind.
Warren County South will compete against five other teams in Indianapolis for a spot in the Little League World Series.
The Great Lakes Regional begins on August 3.
