Updated: 05/11/2015 - Bowling Green Hot Rods opened its four-game road series against the West Michigan Whitecaps with a 3-1 loss in front of 2,238 fans at Fifth Third Ballpark Monday evening. West Michigan (14-17) halted the Hot Rods (19-12) four-game road win streak behind strong pitching from starter Ross Seaton (4-1) who allowed just one run on eight hits over 6.2 innings, while fanning seven and walking none. The 25-year-old right-hander has not issued a walk this season in 32.2 innings on the mound.
