Hilltoppers Beat South Alabama 75-66
Last Updated: 11:05 PM 02/04/12 - A season-best 6,407 packed E.A. Diddle Arena Saturday night, the ninth-largest home crowd in the last five seasons, and the Hilltopper faithful saw WKU shoot a season-high 54.7 percent from the field and beat division rival South Alabama, 75-66. The Hilltoppers also outrebounded the Jaguars, who entered the game as the conference's best rebounding team, by three. The win is WKU's third in the last four games and moves its record to 8-15 overall and 4-6 in conference play. South Alabama drops to 12-10 and 4-7 with the defeat.

WKU Set to Host Louisville and SBC Tournament at Bowling Green Ballpark
Last Updated: 3:33 PM 02/03/12 - Western Kentucky University and the Bowling Green Hot Rods announced Friday that the Hilltoppers will host a regular-season game along with the Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament at Bowling Green Ballpark this season. The May 1 meeting between WKU and the University of Louisville along with the SBC Tournament, May 23-27, will be held at Bowling Green Ballpark in downtown Bowling Green. This will mark the third year WKU has played a regular-season game at Bowling Green Ballpark.

The Hilltoppers fall to 6-15 overall and 2-6 in conference play with the loss, and Florida Atlantic improves to 9-12 and 5-3 this season.
