As Louisville and Michigan are preparing for the national championship tonight, so are the fans.

Andres Carothers and Andre Metcalfe are friends, but tonight these two dedicated fans are cheering for two different teams.

One calls himself Michigan's number one fan, and the other calls himself Louisville's number one fan, but they both say it's time for their team to win the championship.

"We haven't had a championship since 1986, so we are do for one. Rick Pitino is going to make history tonight as the first college coach to have two championships with two different teams! Go Cards!" Andres Carothers says.

"It's going to be a good game tonight. If we can beat Louisville's press, I think we have a good chance of winning. I mean it's probably going to be one of the best final games we've had in a long time," says Andre Metcalfe.

The two friends will watch the game together, which tips off is at 8:23 central time.

Governor Steve Beshear has declared this week "Louisville Cardinals Championship Week" in the Commonwealth.
