Lacey Steele was born and raised right here in South Central Kentucky. She grew up watching WBKO and still loves its hometown feel.

Ms. Steele graduated Valedictorian of her class from Franklin Simpson High School in 2005. In May 2009, she graduated Cum Laude from Western Kentucky University with a major in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in History. She also graduated from the Honors Program at WKU.

In the fall of 2007 she had the opportunity to travel abroad and study at Harlaxton College in Grantham, England. During her trip she also visited Scotland, Ireland, and France. She loves to travel and hopes to have the opportunity to explore the world more in the future.

In her spare time she enjoys reading, dancing, singing, playing piano, and spending time with family and friends.
