Lauren grew up just a few hours away from South Central Kentucky, right outside of Louisville.

She came to Bowling Green to attend Western Kentucky University where she majored in Mass Communication.
During her time on "The Hill," Lauren was bit by the broadcasting bug as she served as the news director, anchor, reporter, and producer for the student newscast.

Lauren claims broadcasting is in her blood. She can't imagine having any other job.

Lauren began her career at WBKO as a producer. She now serves as a general assignment and education reporter for th station. She enjoys being out in the community and seeing what stories affect the people of South Central Kentucky.

During her time off Lauren enjoys reading and spending time with her friends.

Lauren also loves to travel and visit the beach. She gets plenty of chances to do both when she visits her parents, who live on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina.
