This is Bill's second tenure in the WBKO news room. He was the editor for AM Kentucky Live and Midday during late '98 and early '99. Afterwards, he worked for WLOC AM 1150 as News Director and co-host of "The Big Morning Show", he also worked at WQXE in Elizabethtown and WHEC-TV, the co-op television station for Hardin Co. Schools as an instructor and videographer. Feeling the itch for getting back into a newsroom full-time, he took a position as a videographer for WTVW Fox 7 in Evansville, Indiana where he learned the ins-and-outs of photography and credits his mentor, Sports Director Rick Peltier, for teaching him how to write, shoot and edit great sports video. After moving to Louisville, he briefly worked for Fox 41 as an editor, but took a 6 year hiatus to pursue a career in the medical field.
Alas, he missed the buzz of a busy newsroom and all the creativity that comes with it, so in April of 2007, he decided to come back to where it all began here in Bowling Green.
Bill has a love of sports that is surpassed by few, always pulling for his Cats, Cards (YES, you can like them both!), Wolverines, Bengals and Reds. Not suprisingly, his favorite pastimes include playing golf, softball, basketball and spending time with his girlfriend, friends and family. He is looking forward to getting reacclimated with the south central kentucky area and welcomes all comments and suggestions.
