This Louisville gal has come to call Bowling Green her second home. She's the youngest of three girls, who often played "reporter" as kids. Rachel's love for journalism started in middle school where she anchored the morning news. Her passion for writing grew in high school, where she participated with WBHS, the newscast at Ballard High School. This confirmed her interest in broadcasting, and although she "bleeds blue" she just couldn't pass up the award winning school of journalism at Western Kentucky University.

Rachel interned at FOX41 and WAVE3 in Louisville before coming to WBKO as a reporter in September 2009 while finishing up her last semester of college. Rachel graduated one semester early, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast News, and a minor in Music.

In her off-time, Rachel enjoys spinning classes, reading, playing the piano, singing the national anthem at WKU basketball games, watching UK and WKU basketball, and playing with her miniature dachshunds.
