Jeff is originally from Florence, Kentucky (the city with the water tower...y'all. He attended Boone County High School, the alma mater of Seattle Seahawks running back Shaun Alexander, and graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2005 with a degree in Broadcast News.
During his four years on the hill, Jeff worked at WKU's student news station, NewsChannel 12, where he won "Best Sportscaster" by the Kentucky Associated Press in 2004. He was also a member of Western Kentucky's national champion forensics team.
Jeff arrived at WBKO in October 2005 as a news photographer. Just four months later, he became a member of WBKO's sports team as a sports anchor on AM Kentucky. But again, Jeff would be on the move, switching to his current position as Weekend Sports Anchor in the summer of 2006.
Growing up in Cincinnati's backyard, Jeff is an avid Reds and Bengals fan. He also grew up a Kentucky Wildcats fan, but stays very loyal to WKU and is proud to be a Hilltopper. Some of Jeff's favorite sports memories include seeing WKU win the Sun Belt Tournament in person in 2003, the Reds' 1990 World Series sweep of the Oakland A's, Dale Earnhardt's 1998 Daytona 500 victory, Kentucky winning the 1996 national championship, and anytime Barry Sanders ran with a football.
